GARY IN A PANIC
Cast your minds back to June 2019, when Gary Windass did away with loan shark Rick Neelan – dispatching his nemesis with a rock and burying him in the grave Rick had dug for Gary... Expect some nervy moments this week, the first being when Adam gets the information he needs: Laura (Rick’s ex-missus) reveals Gary’s threatened her, but he refuses to call Rick. Adam traces the cash ‘Rick’ has been sending Laura back to Gary, and wonders if Rick might be dead. He corners Gary and asks him if he killed Rick Neelan. Gary laughs it off but is jittery – and it gets worse… Brian reads about some Roman coins in Beacon Woods and says he’s taking his metal detector up there for a look. Appalled, Gary loads up his car with a shovel and tries to get there first – but, thinking he’s after the coins as well (get real!), Brian and Bernie are fast on Gary’s tail. When they get to the woods, all hell breaks loose! Elsewhere, Daniel asks Nicky to dress up as Sinead (oh no), and the day of Yasmeen’s trial dawns, but there’s a mysterious visitor (played by Paula Wilcox). What this person imparts is too much for poor Yasmeen and she collapses. She’s rushed to hospital with a heart attack, and on the Street the same woman watches Geoff and Tim as they go to court. Who is it, and should Geoff be worried…?
