PAUL’S FIRST TV APPEARANCE WAS IN A SAUSAGE ADVERT

In the 30-second ad, Paul can be seen enjoying a sausage from Irish brand Denny while eating breakfast with his family, before being inspired to seize the ‘Denny’ and go travelling.

HE’S A MUSICIAN

Not only can he act, but Paul can sing and play the piano. After learning of this, musical legend Andrew Lloyd Webber tweeted him and suggested a singalong.

HE’S A PHILANTHROPIST

The chain Paul wore as Connell garnered its own fanbase, including an Instagram page (@connellschain) with 180K followers. He donated one of the necklaces he wore to a charity raffle – which raised £62K for Pieta, a suicide and self-harm crisis centre in Ireland.
