‘ People said I looked like a man, but I’m so proud of my body’
Last month, Katie documented her 2st weight loss on Instagram, saying she had transformed her body over the past 16 months in a bid to be happier and healthier for her son. But the star, who is still a healthy BMI for her height, says she was disappointed to get trolled over the post, with some criticising her new figure. She says, “The amount of people who were commenting about my body, saying things like, ‘You look too skinny, you look old, you look like a man, you’ve got no boobs’, it was horrible,” she explains. “But this is my body, I’m not surgically enhanced, I’ve not injected fat into my thighs or bum or boobs. I’m in my natural form at my optimal health and fitness and I’m being ridiculed for it. I was really upset and there was a part of me that wanted to come off social media, but I’m so proud of my body – I’m proud of its strength, it grew my son, and I’m proud of my four-inch-long nipples because they breastfed my son for a year.”
