KIM’S ‘LIVING IN FEAR’ OF WHAT KANYE COULD DO NEXT
Kim Kardashian is in turmoil over how her husband’s outbursts could affect their children, as she worries her perfect family life may be shattered forever
While Kanye West’s Twitter tirade dominated the headlines, Kim Kardashian has reportedly been “out of her mind with worry” and “hysterical” over her husband’s shock outbursts.
And top of “distraught” Kim’s fears is how his worrying breakdown may affect their four young children.
Kim and her famous family have been rocked by agonising personal problems in the past – including Kourtney’s ex Scott Disick’s admission into rehab, and Khloé and ex Tristan Thompson’s cheating scandal in 2019 – with the aftermath always featuring in their reality show, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the show that catapulted the family to global fame and dominance in the showbiz world.
But proving just how much Kanye’s latest meltdown has affected the family, this recent drama reportedly won’t be aired or even mentioned on KUWTK – which Kim was pictured filming with Khloé last week, on the same day she released her statement about Kanye – with Kim apparently insisting she doesn’t want her children to see it in the future.
‘SURVIVAL MODE’
And a source tells Closer that Kim – who had previously stayed silent on his issues due to being “very protective” over her and Kanye’s children – is terrified of the impact it may have on their offspring.
The source says, “Kim’s feeling broken and absolutely devastated by Kanye’s latest meltdown, but she’s desperate to protect the kids at all cost. Her priority is their wellbeing, especially given North and Saint are now at ages where they know and understand what’s going on.
“She’s in a bad place, barely sleeping, hardly eating and shutting off many of her closest friends, as she insists she’s in ‘survival mode’ and is just concentrating on the kids. She’s living in constant fear of what he’s going to say or do next.”
Kim was praised last week for her emotional three-page statement, where she openly discussed her husband’s bipolar disorder and the struggles she and her family faced.
The reality star has previously said that despite sometimes disagreeing with Kanye’s opinions and career moves, she’d always publicly support her husband. She even stood by his side earlier this month after he announced he was running for President and made a series of controversial comments in a speech – sparking speculation he may be having a bipolar episode.

Kanye’s made controversial comments in the past, Kim has said, “I read online,
‘What is she doing? She’s not stopping him.’ Like it’s my fault if he does or says something… [but] that’s my husband – and if it comes to him being in the middle of a bipolar episode,
I’ll do everything to be supportive and help to calm the situation.”
The couple have always hit back at rumours of marriage trouble, and on their anniversary this year,
Kim wrote on Instagram, “6 years down; forever to go. Until the end.”
But with cracks beginning to show, reports from US sources emerged that said the couple had been debating divorce “for weeks” – with Kanye shockingly confessing on Twitter that he’d been contemplating it for years.
Kim is said to be currently seeking out divorce lawyers – while PR experts have urged the star, who has 180m followers on Instagram, to separate to protect her image and save her family’s billion-dollar brand.
DEVASTATED
Sources say Kim is heartbroken that her picture-perfect family life is falling apart.
The source adds, “Having no control is a very scary thing for Kim – especially right now. She’s feeling helpless at the same time as feeling devastated about Kanye’s mental health and the future of their family hanging in the balance.
“Kim’s had her dream life torn apart and she’s powerless to stop it, which is even more painful for her.
“As concerned as she and her family are for Kanye’s wellbeing, they’re also desperately concerned about what else might happen and they’re living in fear of his next move.”
