“I don’t believe in half-fat anything”

After vowing to make 2020 her “year of health”, she’s been flaunting the results of her 3st weight loss – confidently donning a lime green bikini in a recent sexy hottub snap and wowing fans with her slimmed-down frame in a selection of Lycra outfits as she documents her lifestyle overhaul on Instagram. And pals say Rebel Wilson, 40 – who’s reportedly been following the Mayr Method diet plan, which eliminates food intolerances, reduces sugar intake and encourages eating whole foods – has vowed to continue her weight loss mission after arriving back in LA earlier this month following a six-month stint at her home in Australia.

The star’s personal trainer out there, Jono Castano Acero, has been regularly sharing her sixday-a-week workouts, comprising a mixture of compound and

HIIT exercises. The Pitch Perfect actress – who played Fat Amy in the movie – alternates these workouts with outdoor activities such as zip-lining and hiking.

She’s also been lifting weights, which burns fat and tones quickly, and has been seen flipping tyres on her Instagram page.

An insider tells Closer, “Rebel’s determined not to slip back into old habits now she’s back in LA, and she’s on a mission to lose another 2st to reach her goal. She knows it’s going to be challenging without Jono by her side, but he’s devised a home workout plan for her, which they’re doing via Zoom every day and he’s encouraging her by having her log her food in a diary and doing weekly weigh-ins to ensure she stays on track. With LA offering an outdoors lifestyle like Down Under, Rebel says she loves keeping active and wants to continue with her adventurous new hobbies like hiking, beach sports, snorkelling and swimming, and she’s hired a diet chef recommended by a friend to help plan and cook healthy meals.”

Opening up about her battle with comfort eating in an interview earlier this year, the actress – whose lifestyle overhaul began at a health retreat in Austria – said, “It’s really difficult. I was an emotional eater, and to work not just on the outside but also on the mental component is the biggest thing for me.”

Pals say the star has vowed to continue working on her inner self as part of a lasting commitment to her new healthy lifestyle. The insider adds, “Rebel knows it’s just as important to work on her mental health as her physical health, and that’s something that doesn’t just go away. But she says she’s determined to ensure this transformation is just the start of a lifelong change.”
