New fears for Jordan:

“She’s risking everything for her baby dream”

- By Daisy McLure

❛ SHE NEEDS TO GIVE HERSELF LONGER TO HEAL BEFORE RUSHING INTO ANYTHING ❜

She worried fans as she talked about her “suicidal thoughts” last week and, despite being confined to a wheelchair for at least six months, it seems Jordan is pushing on with plans to start a family with her new boyfriend, Carl Woods.

As they prepared for a “babymaking holiday” in the Maldives, the mum of five told fans during an Instagram Q&A that she “wished” she were already pregnant, adding she wanted

“as many as my body can take.”

Jordan, 42 – real name Katie Price – has been told she’ll be unable to walk for at least six months, after breaking both ankles during a recent holiday to Turkey with former Love Island hopeful Carl, 32.

Concerned fans were left questioning how she would cope with another baby – as just a day before, she emotionally revealed how she had been tormented by suicidal thoughts. One worried fan commented, “Her body is trying to mend itself.

And she says she has to stay in a wheelchair for six months, so not a nice pregnancy if she did get pregnant [sic].” Another added, “She can barely walk. Not to mention the mental health issues she said about just recently.”

‘TERRIBLE TIMING’

Jordan – who still has regular therapy as an outpatient at The Priory – spent six weeks being treated for post-traumatic stress in February, after revealing she considered suicide following a series of traumas. She admitted to self-medicating with drugs and alcohol and has had to take tests since to prove she is staying clean.

Adding to her difficulties, the former glamour model – who was declared bankrupt in December – is now facing a fresh bankruptcy hearing after the courts were tipped off about her “lavish spending”, despite her allegedly not paying back creditors.

Sources recently told Closer that age was a factor in Jordan trying to get pregnant quickly. But psychotherapist Noel McDermott believes her desire to keep hold of Carl could be detrimental to her health.

He tells Closer, “Katie probably thinks that to have a long and happy future with Carl, they should start a family before it’s too late for her. But it’s terrible timing and poses a threat to her health, as her body is already under huge stress after her accident. She’s risking everything, her physical and mental health, on this desperation for her baby dream.”

Heartbreakingly, her last three pregnancies ended in miscarriage – she lost two babies with ex Kris Boyson last year, and one in 2017 with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.

She also admits her last two births with Jett, now six, and Bunny, five, were “traumatic”.

Last week, she insisted she “feels so good”, adding, “That’s why I feel I’ve met Carl now, because I know what I want, I know what I deserve and, when I’m happy, the ship runs well.”

‘DARK PLACE’

But Noel warns that Jordan – also mum to Harvey, 18, Junior, 15, and Princess, 13 – could “relapse” if her plans don’t work out.

He says, “Katie has suffered the trauma of three miscarriages and she’s had depression before. God forbid, but if something goes wrong again, it could cause her to relapse and push her back to that dark place.

“Katie and Carl are in the ‘honeymoon phase’, where everything is fun. But having a child messes up your sex life, emotions and the way you relate to each other. Only time will tell if it brings them closer together or breaks them apart. She needs to give herself longer to heal before rushing into anything.”
