Too Hot To Handle’s Emily: “Staying celibate with Cam was tough!”

It’s the hit dating show that puts a twist on the Love Island formula by putting randy singletons to the ultimate test.
Slapped with an intimacy ban, the Netflix show’s sexuallyliberated housemates have to remain celibate for a four week-long island retreat – or risk losing the $100,000 (£72,000) joint prize.
Season two of the British/ American show has won a new army of fans who have been gripped by the “sexploits” – with Brits Emily Miller and Cam Holmes quickly becoming notorious as rule breakers. Their immediate chemistry cost the housemates £12,000 in the first week alone!
Model Emily, 27, admits the show was a challenge. She says, “I’ve got a high sex drive and I’m very sexually driven, so it was tough. The celibacy was extremely hard, especially when you’ve got a straight 10/10 lying next to you every night.
“We used to call [fellow contestant] Marvin ‘the night watch’ because halfway through the night he’d get up and stand at the end of our bed to make sure we weren’t doing anything naughty... I’m done with celibacy now!”
Filmed in a luxury Turks and Caicos villa last November, Emily says her close connection with Cam, 24, was “instant”, but their relationship wasn’t without its ups and downs.
“The producers had to come up to Cam and I a few times to tell us we needed to talk to other people more, and we were like ‘No, we’re good!’ My biggest low in the villa was after Cam’s date with [new bombshell housemate] Christina. I was so certain that me and Cam were on track and wifed off, so to know that wasn’t how he felt was really hard. I’m not used to competition, so if that were to ever happen in the outside world, I’d be gone. In there, you can’t run and you have to face your demons.”
Wearing bikinis every day on camera didn’t faze Emily, who adds that she has no interest in working out. She tells
Closer, “I’ve always been body confident. I used to walk around the house pretty much naked and get told off by my mum. My only insecurity is my toes!”
Though Emily has ruled out having surgery on her body, she’s had “the odd tweak” to her face, but hasn’t always been happy with the results.
“I’ve gone 27 years with small boobs, so why would I change that now?” she says. “For me, it’s the itty bitty titty committee for life!
“I do get lip filler. But on the show, my lip filler looks so dodgy, it’s embarrassing to watch. After the show, I had it all dissolved and I’ve just had a little bit put back in. I also get a bit of Botox on my forehead, but that’s it.”
With Cam eventually asking Emily to be his girlfriend in the final episode, it seems reality TV’s hot new couple are still going strong six months after filming ended in December.
Emily says, “I feel like Too Hot To Handle has changed me. I’m in a very committed and loving relationship and that is all down to the show. I just can’t wait to see what the future holds for us.”
