ELECTRIC EYES
Colour-pop peepers are quickly becoming the trend of the summer and have been spotted on a whole host of celebs. When it comes to your make-up, the brighter the better!
COLOURFUL CRAYON
A hot-pink shade may seem intimidating but, when applied as a subtle liner like Laura’s, it feels wearable. A creamy crayon like this one will glide over the lid without snagging and is a fun alternative to your normal black cat eye. It can double up as a rosy eyeshadow, too – squiggle over your eyelid and blend in with an eyeshadow brush. Clever!
SHOUTY SHADOW
Copy Gigi’s zesty eye with vivid pigments. Using a damp eyeshadow brush will pick up more powder and create a stronger layer of colour, so start with a small amount and build up, rather than going in heavy. Dab into the corner of your eye, then sweep over lids for a bold look. Orange not your thing? Try baby pink
or soft purple. BEAUTY BAY BRIGHT MATTE 9 COLOUR PALETTE £6.50
ACE BASE
The secret to long-lasting liner is in the prep, and an oil-absorbing eyeshadow primer promises to give the best results. Warm up the formula by rubbing onto your fingertips first and then blend into your eyelids after applying foundation. Follow with your liner or shadow and you’ll be impressed with the extra
staying power. E.L.F PUTTY EYE

LUMINOUS LIQUID
Liquid liners are especially great for those with oily complexions as they’re less likely to budge. They’re also brighter than cream alternatives, thanks to their strong pigments, and a fine tip makes neat lines easy. Holding your eyelid taut, work back from the flick end to your tear duct, creating a straight cat eye. We love this blue shade, which mirrors Kate’s amazing make-up. 3INA MAKEUP THE COLOUR PEN EYELINER IN 850 £12.95
TOP TOOL
Investing in a flat-angled eyeshadow brush means you can easily turn any eye shadow into a liner. Precision is key! Rather than sweeping the colour on, take your brush and dab into your shadow of choice, then press it along the base of lashes until you have a full line. Don’t drag it, as the colour will lose its strength and oomph. Voila!
