Kerry: ‘ I’ve b been through so much mentally – now I’ve got closure’

-

She’s had highs and lows throughout her career – facing financial, health and personal issues over the years.

And Kerry Katona now says that hitting rock bottom and the lessons she learned over the years helped her survive Celebrity SAS. She says, “I’ve done so many shows but this was different. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

“Mentally, I’ve been through a lot – I’ve been through bankruptcy, divorce, domestic violence, drug addiction, you name it and I’ve come through it. I thought I could beat this show. I wanted to see how far I could go mentally, and what

I could learn about myself – I got closure. It helped me accept who I am and let go.”

Since rising to fame in 1998, mum-of-five Kerry, 40, has had three marriage breakdowns in the spotlight. She married Brian McFadden, with whom she shares Molly, 19, and LillySue, 18, Mark Croft, dad to

Max, 14, and Heidi, 13, and the late George Kay, father to her daughter, Dylan-Jorge, seven.

She’s also been to rehab for cocaine addiction, been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and gone through bankruptcy twice.

But she’s in a much better place, now happily loved-up with fiancé Ryan Mahoney and earning a fortune through her successful OnlyFans account.

And Kerry says that unlike her other marriages, where she’s rushed things, she’s taking her time, saying, “We haven’t got any wedding plans! I might just get on a plane and go to Vegas. We haven’t booked anything, but we’re happy.”
