Nature boost for Lincolnshire
A former Lincolnshire coast golf course is set to be transformed into a 30-hectare nature reserve after being acquired by the National Trust. The restoration of sand dune and wetland habitats will create a haven for a variety of wildlife, especially uncommon migratory birds such as black-tailed godwits and spotted redshank as well as providing a new place for visitors to experience nature after lockdown (nationaltrust.org.uk).
