2At this point, em Client will sync your account (which can take up to 10 minutes). Once that’s finished, you’ll see your inbox and any email folders you’ve created 1 , as well as your Calendars, Tasks and Contacts 2 . Calendar events sometimes take longer to sync. If you don’t see your these after about 10 minutes, try restarting the program. As with Windows Live Mail, you’ll receive desktop notificati­ons when new emails arrive.

5Click Contacts 1 to see your imported contacts as tiles. Custom View 2 lets you see them as a list. Double-click any contact to see their details in a new window 3 . Make any edits you want to that contact, then click Save at the bottom. To delete contacts, press Ctrl, select the contacts you want to remove, right-click them, then click Delete. You can also sort your contacts by company and location 4 .

9If you notice that em Client suddenly stops syncing your emails, it’s probably because Microsoft has recently updated your account to Outlook Mail. If and when this happens, you’ll need to remove your Microsoft account and re-add it to em Client. To do that, click the Menu button 1 , Tools, then Accounts. Next, click the small bin icon 2 , then click Yes 3 to delete your account. To re-add your account, click the ‘+’ button 4 , enter your email address, click Start Now, enter your password, click Continue, Next, Finish, then wait for the program to resync your data. In future, your emails, contacts and calendar should sync in em Client without problems.
