ANDROID Make free video calls and group calls

Facebook has put a lot of work into improving its Messenger app ( www.snipca.com/21082). It’s redesigned its interface and, as well as offering free video calls, it now lets you make audio calls to groups. If you use the app frequently, you can now set Facebook Messenger as your default text-messaging app.

Open the app (see its new layout in our screenshot above right). Your last three conversations will be listed at the top. Contacts you frequently talk to appear in the Favorites section below that. Under that is an Active Now section, which displays your Facebook friends that are currently online. Tap the phone icon at the top for options to start an audio call or video call with a Facebook contact.

The icon with two people shows a list of Facebook groups you’ve joined. To start a group audio call, tap the phone icon at the top right, select the members of that group you’d like to include in the call (maximum 12), then tap the phone icon again to start the call.

To set Messenger as your default text-messaging app, tap your profile icon at the top right, then tap SMS. Now tap

This game will improve your child’s knowledge of geography by teaching them where different countries are located. In the revision test, they need to tap the correct country on a world map and will be tested on capital cities, national flags and population.
