Logitech M720 Triathlon

A wireless mouse that roars MSI Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 3GB Powerful card for graphic content

Laptops have built-in trackpads that serve the same purpose as a mouse, but whether they work as well in practice is another matter. The latest big glasstopped multi-touchpads are wonderfully responsive, detecting Windows 10 twoand three-fingered gestures as well as basic cursor movements. However, cheaper laptops come with much less impressive versions that can feel frustratingly vague and imprecise. Adding a mouse is the obvious answer, but it galls to buy one in addition to your PC’S mouse when you can only use one at a time. And swapping the one from your desktop PC is a faff, especially if it’s wireless, because you’ll need to re-pair it with the other machine each time.

Logitech to the rescue: thisis Bluetooth mouse can stay paired with up to three machines at once. It has a simple switch at the front to select them, so there’s no need to go into settings. One USB Bluetooth dongle is supplied in case your desktop PC doesn’t have a wireless card, but your other system or systems will need Bluetooth Smart, part of the Bluetooth 4.0 specification, which is built in to work with the Triathlon.

The mouse is a comfortable shape, though evidently made for right-handers, and provides a couple of programmable buttons, which you can assign to functions in different programs, as well as the usual left, right and centre buttons and vertical scroll wheel. The wheel is of the flywheel type, so you can flick it to scroll fast, which is great, although it’s not as sophisticated as a touch-sensitive two-way scrolling surface like that of Apple’s Magic mice.
