Whenever you’re on a website you’re struggling to read, click the Font extension 1 , then Options. In the web page that opens, you’ll see three sliders with preview panes below each. The first slider 2 lets you increase the size of proportional font types (width of letters vary) – including serif types (Times New Roman, for example) and sans serif (Arial, for example). The next slider 3 lets you change the size of fixed-width fonts (including Consolas, Courier New and MS Gothic). Click ‘Apply settings’, check how your web pages look, then re-adjust these sliders if necessary.
