Save articles to read offline

In Issue 493’s Phone & Tablet Tips, we showed you how to save web pages to read offline using the Chrome browser on Android. Google has now updated the Chrome IOS app ( www.snipca.com/23777) with this feature. However, the way you use it is slightly different.

On IOS, open the web page you want to read later. Tap the small upload icon at the top right, then the new Read Later button (see screenshot right). Repeat this to add other articles.

To access your saved articles when you’re offline, open Chrome, tap the three dots at the top right, Reading List, then tap to open the article you want to read. Turn to page 60 for more offline tips.
