Best Free Software Windows 10 Download Tool

Windows 7, 8/8.1 or 10
If you plan to upgrade to Windows 10 from Windows 7 or 8/8.1, or to update or re-install your current version of Windows 10, you’ll need a Windows 10 ISO file. These installation kits are available from Microsoft’s website ( www. snipca.com/24286) – as long as you’re willing to do some work to get them. Microsoft forces you to install the Media Creation Tool before you can get them, and offers you different files depending on the device and even the browser you’re using. To skip the palaver, use this free new portable tool instead.
Windows 10 ISO Download Tool is effectively a browser that bypasses Microsoft’s restrictions. It takes you straight to the download links for every Windows 10 edition currently available (including the Creators Update and Anniversary Update). It also offers ‘Windows 10 N’, a version with no built-in media player ( www.snipca.com/24290).
The program is completely independent of Microsoft but doesn’t tread on any copyright toes. It’s not re-selling or sub-letting Windows 10 ISO files, just helping you access them far more easily.
To get it, scroll to the bottom of the page, then click Download. Save the portable program file (‘winisodl.exe’), then click to run it. The program window looks like a simplified browser, displaying the ‘Download Windows 10 Disc Image (ISO File)’ page of Microsoft’s website. The window is annoyingly small and you can’t maximise it or drag its edges. To show you as much of its content as possible, here are two screenshots instead of the usual one.
