Before installing the add-in it’s a good idea to ensure that your PC’S sound drivers are up to date. Press the Start button, type device manager, then press Enter to open it. You’ll see a list of all the drivers on your PC 1 . Click the arrow beside any option with a speaker icon 2 . Next, one at a time, right-click the options in the list (for example, the Speakers/headphones option 3 ), click ‘Update driver’, ‘Search automatically for updated driver software’ 4 , then follow the onscreen prompts to install/update the driver for each audio component.
