The add-in detects what you dictate, corrects any mistakes, then inserts text wherever your cursor has been placed 1 . Go to www.dictate.ms and scroll down for a list of common commands you can use to format and edit your email. For example, saying ‘new line’ moves your cursor to the next line, saying ‘delete’ removes the last line you typed, and ‘stop dictation’ turns off speech recognition. By default, punctuation marks are added at the end of every line, but you can add them manually by clicking Manual Punctuation 2 before you start dictating.
