Set monthly reminders using Cortana

You can use Windows 10’s personal assistant Cortana to set handy monthly reminders – for example, to pay bills. These notifications will then pop up on your PC screen at the time you specify. We’ll show you how to set monthly reminders to pay your electricity bill.

First, type remind me to pay the bill every month into the search bar at the bottom left. Next, click the ‘Set reminder’. option that appears. In the pop-up menu that opens (see screenshot below left), you’ll see options to name the reminder, set a time, date and frequency using dropdown menus, and add a photo (optional). Click the Remind button when you’ve finished.
