Get relevant options and handy tips when you need them

Office 2016 and 365 have a useful, self-explanatory ‘Tell me what you want to do’ box at the top. Simply type whatever you want into this to see relevant results.

For example, if you’re using Powerpoint and want to add a text box to your slide, type add text box. You’ll see options to insert a text box, insert word art, align text and format text effects (see screenshot left). The ‘Get Help on’ section at the bottom displays a panel on the right containing step-by-step instructions on what you need to do.
