How do I get mailto links to open Outlook?

I have a Windows 10 computer with the Creators Update installed and I use Outlook 2010 for emails. How can I get website ‘mailto:’ links to launch Outlook 2010 rather than Windows 10 Mail? John Huddleston

First, click Start, type control panel then click Control Panel. Now click Programs followed by ‘Make a file type always open in a specific program’: this opens the Set Associations box. In Set Associations, scroll through the list to the Protocols group, then click to select the MAILTO entry (see screenshot). Now click the ‘Change program’ button and, in the ‘How do you want to open this’ panel that appears, scroll to find and then click Microsoft Office Outlook. Click OK followed by Close and that’s it.
