GOOGLE: RUSSIANS BOUGHT TRUMP ADS

Google says it has found evidence Russian spies paid for adverts in Gmail, Youtube and search results to influence last year’s US presidential election, though they don’t come from the same source that bought ads on Facebook. US intelligence agencies said earlier this year that Russia tried to sway the election in favour of Donald Trump, a claim denied by the Kremlin and the White House.
