CREDIT WHERE IT’S DUE YOU TELL US WHEN COMPANIES GET IT RIGHT

In March this year, I lost the adapter that connects my angled viewfinder to my camera. This is a small (30mm x 17mm x 5mm) piece of moulded plastic (pictured) without which the angled finder is useless.

I tried several photographic dealers without success and had almost given up when one of them referred me to Kauser International Trading Ltd, based in Radlett, Hertfordshire. They were unable to help immediately but took my name and address and said they would “see what they could do”.

I heard nothing for about a week but then an envelope containing the correct adapter dropped through my letterbox. I looked for an invoice but could find none – just a compliments slip. Such a change from the “can’t help, so not interested” attitude of most companies. And for free! Mr D Grey
