EXCEL Keep column and row headers visible all the time

If you’re working on a lengthy Excel sheet, you’ll notice that its column headers move out of sight when you scroll down your sheet. Row headers also disappear off to the left when you scroll to the right. The easiest way to stop this happening is to freeze the column/row header so that it doesn’t move when you scroll.

To do this, first select the column/row header you want to freeze, click the View tab, then click the Freeze Panes dropdown menu in the Windows section at the top. Here, you’ll see options to freeze the relevant column or row header (see screenshot below). Use the same dropdown menu to unfreeze any column/row headers.
