WHAT’S MISSING FROM THE UPDATE?

Some of the Fall Creators Update features Microsoft showed off at its Build 2017 conference in May are missing. Story Remix (see screenshot) seemed to provide a fun, user-friendly way to edit video – something that Windows 10 is sorely lacking. Unfortunately, it’s absent from the Fall CU, but will be added to the Windows 10 Photos app soon. Similarly, the Timeline tool, which provides a visual way to retrace your steps and make it easy to pick up tasks where you left off across multiple devices, has been delayed. Hopefully, these will make it into the next big update, codenamed Redstone 4, due March 2018.
