DELETE WI-FI NETWORKS FROM YOUR DEVICES
Windows
Every time you connect to a new wireless network it will be saved on your device, making it easy to reconnect to it the next time you get in range. It’s a handy feature, but you might not want to automatically connect to that slow coffee shop Wi-fi every time you stop by for a latte and muffin, or have that holiday hotel from three years ago still stored as an option on your laptop.
To view and remove wireless networks in Windows 10, press Win+i to open the Settings app and select ‘Network & Internet’. Click Wi-fi in the left-hand panel. There you will see a Manage Wi-fi Settings link. Click this and under ‘Manage known networks’, select the network you no longer require, then click the Forget button (see screenshot below). This will remove that wireless network’s profile and connection details.
Android
In Android, go to Settings, Wi-fi and tap the three dots at the top right. Select ‘Saved networks’ to see all the hotspots you’ve connected to in the past. Select one that you no longer want, then tap the Forget link (see screenshot below) and it will be removed from the list. You can reconnect to it again at any time in the future, by treating it as a brand new network.
IOS
To remove unwanted networks in IOS, go to Settings, and tap Wi-fi. Tap the info button (the lower-case ‘i’) next to the wireless network you want to remove. At the top of the next screen, tap Forget This Network (see screenshot below). When prompted to confirm you really want to do this, tap Forget.
