How do I stop this error message?

-

QI have used Microsoft’s Access 2016 to create a database of my 300+ DVDS and created hyperlinks to photos of the DVD covers, which are located in the same folder on my PC’S hard drive. Unfortunately, when I click on the hyperlinks I get a message saying that a security concern has been identified. The message also says the location may be unsafe. Online advice I found suggests this warning could be turned off in earlier Office versions, but I can’t find a way to do this in Access 2016. Do you know why this happens, and if it’s possible to stop it? Not allowing hyperlinks, especially to a trusted location like my own hard drive, seems over the top!

To start, press Windows key+r, type regedit then press Enter, clicking Yes if the User Account Control box appears. Next, in the Registry Editor window’s left-hand pane, navigate to HKEY_ Current_user\software\microsoft\ Office\16.0\common. If this key has a subkey called Security then click to select it. If not, right-click Common then point to New, click Key, type Security as the key’s name and press Enter. Then, in the blank area of the right-hand pane, right-click and choose New followed by ‘DWORD (32-bit) value’. Call this new value Disablehyperlinkwarning and press Enter. Finally, double-click the new Disablehyperlinkwarning value, type 1 into the ‘Value data’ box and click OK (see screenshot). Now restart your PC.
