In the future, nobody will see you blinking – at least, not in photos. Facebook has built an artificial-intelligence photo technology that learns how to replace closed eyes with open eyes. To ‘train’ it, engineers showed 200,000 photos of volunteers, and 100,000 of famous people, including Gandhi (pictured).
