Fix audio playback when programs are minimised

The only minor glitch that I faced after updating my PC to the Windows 10 April 2018 Update was that Microsoft Edge stopped playing any audio (from Youtube or websites) whenever I minimised the browser. I was told there’s a setting that you need to change if you notice any programs or apps that have the same problem.

Press the Windows key, type privacy, then click the ‘Privacy settings’ search result. Scroll down the list on the left and select ‘Background apps’. Now turn on the ‘Let apps run in the background’ slider at the top right. Finally, scroll down the list and ensure that the slider for Microsoft Edge – or any other program/ app that doesn’t play music when minimised – is turned on.
