Microsoft Composite Image Editor

www.snipca.com/30505 Not all websites offer the option of download buttons, preferring that you access their content only online. And while – as we’ve explained here – you can always take screenshots of maps, that’s a hassle if you need to create multiple screenshots to capture everything you want.

This excellent tool from Microsoft lets you stitch adjacent shots together into one image. First, take your screenshots (making sure each overlaps slightly), then load Composite Image Editor and click New Panorama From Images at the top. Select your screenshots, click Open, then click Next (top right) to see your images stitched together. Click Next again, then, in the Image section on the right, click ‘Export to disk’ to save the merged image as a JPEG.

4K Video Downloader

www.4kdownload.com This free tool lets you download video from select sites (including Youtube, Vimeo and Facebook) with a minimum of fuss. Simply copy the video’s URL from your browser, open 4K Video Downloader and click the green Paste Link button. Next, choose your video quality and save location, then click Download. Within seconds, the video will be downloaded to your PC.

Chrome Audio Capture

www.snipca.com/30509 Want to download some audio from a website, but can’t find a download button? Install this free Chrome extension, then press the record button to capture any audio. Firefox users should try Audio Downloader Prime ( www.snipca. com/30510).
