EASTER CELEBRATIONS

A huge thank-you to the Knit and Natter group at Tamar Valley Methodist Church, along with some other knitters around the Callington and Gunnislake Methodist circuit, who handcrafted over 200 knitted chicks (containing chocolate eggs, of course) which were distributed to care homes and community groups with our love and the joy of the Easter message.

A moving, ecumenical, all-age Good Friday Walk of Witness took place at Stoke Climsland, starting at the parish church and finishing at the Methodist Church. Thanks to our friends from the parish church who led us, especially Dominic and Dawn Nelson, those who took part and also those who provided welcome toasted hot cross buns and hot drinks at Stoke Climsland Methodist Church at the end of the walk, where the flower team had created some beautiful displays depicting events from Palm Sunday to the Ascension.
