When Airdre started her crowdfunding page, other women came forward to share their stories

‘I was shown your page some weeks ago by my sister, and you gave me and my partner the strength to go public about our nightmare; we were attacked in Samoa and I was raped.’

‘The exact same thing happened to me. I was in Korea, too. Nothing happened to the man who hurt me and he will probably hurt someone again. After I was raped, there was blood on the bed, yet the police said there was no evidence and my case was dropped.’

‘I’m Australian and I was also raped in Seoul in 2005. I went to the hospital like you and there is a police report, but I’ve never heard anything more about it.’

'I was sexually assaulted while teaching in South Korea 12 years ago. It was a horrific incident in which a stranger entered my apartment. I ended up blocking it all out.'
