Cake tails
Fancy something sweet but don’t want the calories of cake, or the shame of a fifth slice? Try these dessert cocktails…
GROWN-UP ICE-CREAM FLOAT
Remember those ice-cream floats your parents let you have on holiday? This is the adult version. Nice and light, and easy to make, just drop some summer berries into the bottom of a glass, pour over a dry prosecco, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and pour over some more fizz. Devour.
TIRAMISU IN A GLASS
The original ‘caketail’ is dangerously easy to make. Start with a shot of espresso in the bottom of a glass, splash in some amaretto, a milk chocolate liqueur like Baileys and a little milk. Slot in a lady finger biscuit. Garnish with a grating of chocolate for guests (or serve in a trough if you’re alone).
