Love the bubbles, bored of the glasswear? Mixologist Tony Conigliaro has some suggestions
HELLO KITTY VESSEL The biggest jug you can find Raspberry meets rose and gin to make your soirée go with a swing • 1 bottle gin • 1 bottle soda water • 1 bottle prosecco • 10ml vanilla essence • 10ml rose water • 250ml sugar syrup • 250ml raspberry syrup • Juice of five lemons The most delicious cocktail you can make in two minutes. Sling the ingredients in a jug over ice. Stir. Serve in half-pint glasses.
GRAPEFRUIT FIZZ VESSEL Something tall and slender Like Buck’s fizz, fine to serve with breakfast, a bagel and a smile • 1 bottle Lanson champagne
• 1 carton pink grapefruit juice
Add the fizz to each glass, top with juice and stir gently (you don’t want to knock out the bubbles). For an even more shocking pink colour, strain the juice through a coffee filter paper before adding to the champagne.
