If there’s one film to stop scrolling for, it’s The White Tiger, the brand-new Oscar contender based on the 2008 Man Booker Prize-winning novel of the same name by Aravind Adiga. The drama follows Balram Halwai and his epic journey from serving wealthy employers (Priyanka Chopra Jonas, pictured, and Rajkummar Rao) to becoming a successful entrepreneur in India. But it’s not all smiles and success – the powerful drama packs in laughs side-by-side with challenging questions.
