Given my situation, I’ve not been able to splash out much, but I got £400 back from a cancelled holiday, which was a very welcome bonus.

GOING DOWN

Ahead of my new job, I bought a £120 Fact + Fiction rucksack. I should have waited, but I thought if I carried on as “normal”, things would be OK.
