Refy Brow Sculpt, £14

For soap-brow stans who are sick of carrying around a slab of transparent soap and a spoolie, Refy engineered this waxy treat for locked-in brows on-the-go. It doesn’t have the strongest hold, but that’s because of its gorgeously flexible formula, which allows for tweaks with a slow dry-down – something

I, a noncommittal, appreciate. Love at first swatch and total bang for your buck.

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Freeze, £24

In-cred-ible scenes. This little overachiever is not here to make friends. Drag a spoolie through the glassy wax and see even unlaminated brow hairs sit vertically. Zero residue, a high-gloss finish, and it held my brows stronger than Bridgerton’s Duke of Hastings holds me in my dreams, without compromising my brow health. True innovation, and will satisfy any statement-brow seekers.

NYX Professional Makeup The Brow Glue, £9

Heed the tube’s words: this is gluey. The wand is tiny, which makes wrangling the product difficult at first, but it pays off if you’re in the market for precision. Persevere, and resist the urge to slather it on, instead adding layers in quick succession. You’ll be rewarded with impressive day-long fluffiness.

BareMinerals Strength & Length Serum-Infused Brow Gel, £18

Repeat treatments (like lamination and tints) can impact the condition of your brows, so this serum-gel hybrid is a handy compromise for those eager to keep hairs in good nick. Don’t expect the world – it won’t set your brows vertically – but it’ll add a healthy gloss, plus peace of mind that you’re showing your brows some much-needed TLC.

Maybelline Brow Fast Sculpt, £6.99

Look, when you’re paying less than the price of lunch at Costa for a groomer, it’s unlikely you’ll get industrial levels of hold. That being said, the brush distributed product easily and evenly. It will give your brows an affordable glow-up, and it comes in both clear and tinted

shades. Fair play.

Benefit 24-Hr Brow Setter, £22.50

This heavyweight has been my go-to for ages. It has a slim wand that rakes through hairs thoroughly, offering Sonic-level spikes. That said, it’s pretty matte, and I’ve noticed it takes a toll on the condition of my hairs with daily use. It’ll stay in my rotation, but for special occasions.

It’s not you, B, it’s me.
