SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL HEROES WHEN INVESTING IN NEW CARPET, CONFIDENT IN KNOWING YOU’VE MADE THE PERFECT CHOICE

-

Britain has always been a nation of shopkeepers. And we all know that diversity on the high street, with a good mix of independent retailers, makes for a more appealing shopping experience. We’re flooding back to butchers, bakers and specialist stores – often the lifeblood of our communities – and local artisans are flourishing. This applies to carpet retailers, too.

We buy a new carpet every seven years on average, so need to turn to people we can trust. The Carpet Foundation has 450 independent retailers nationwide, most of which are small or family-owned. Many have been selling carpet for generations, driven by pride in their work and a passion for their product. They offer quality carpets to suit all budgets and needs, and help from knowledgeable people who will make sure you buy the carpet that is right for you.

All Carpet Foundation retailers operate under a Consumer Code of Practice approved by the Chartered Trading Standards Institute. It guarantees a certain level of service – you won’t get any nasty surprises on the bill and, in the unlikely event of a problem, there is an agreed dispute resolution process. They are the only carpet retailers in Britain allowed to follow this Code of Practice and are monitored to ensure compliance.

Shopping is one thing we do well in this country, but carpet is a complex and infrequent purchase, so choose a local carpet specialist for great service, genuine expertise and access to a wide range of quality carpets, perfect for a country home.
