O cel­e­brate its 80th birth­day, the Ge­or­gian Group has an­nounced a num­ber of ac­tiv­i­ties de­signed to rekin­dle in­ter­est in the study, ap­pre­ci­a­tion and un­der­stand­ing of Ge­or­gian ar­chi­tec­ture.

The or­gan­i­sa­tion, which cam­paigns for the preser­va­tion of his­toric build­ings and land­scapes from the 18th and 19th cen­turies, has an­nounced a draw­ing prize in con­junc­tion with the Tra­di­tional Ar­chi­tec­ture Group.

The Ar­chi­tec­tural Mea­sured Draw­ing Prize will be pre­sented to the cre­ator of the best draw­ing of an ex­te­rior or in­te­rior of an ex­ist­ing Ge­or­gian build­ing. The prize is open to any­one un­der the age of 40, with en­tries clos­ing on June 30.
