Chick, chick, chick, chick, chicken

FOLLOWING on from Sue Morris’s delightful chicken-themed dresser (Letters, June 28), I enclose a photograph of my daughter’s dresser with the real Mccoy (above). This hen was the sole survivor of a foray by the local fox and she decided on her new home, totally unfazed by cats, dogs and children. Nowadays, she’s back with new feathered friends in a fortified run as her only drawback was being impossible to house train. Georgie Moore, Wiltshire
