Proudly British and steeped in heritage, Royal Warrant holder Mappin & Webb is making bespoke jewellery more accessible than ever with its By Appointment service for brides to be

YOU’LL be be pleased to discover that esteemed jeweller and silversmith Mappin & Webb is as proudly British today as when the doors first opened in Sheffield 241 years ago. Jonathan Mappin launched his workshop in 1775, providing elegant silverware for affluent British society figures, and the company, which holds a Royal Warrant, today crafts silverware to mark many key social and historic events, celebrations and race days. Commissions come from around the globe and the list of past customers reads like Kelly frequented the Edinburgh boutique and Winston Churchill had his pocket watches serviced by the firm’s watch specialists. The Royal Warrant was first granted in 1897, by Queen Victoria, after she commissioned Mappin & Webb to create her Golden Jubilee necklace, and, today, the company holds a Royal Warrant as Jewellers, Goldsmiths and Silversmiths to Her Majesty The Queen and as Silversmiths to His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales. Mappin & Webb continues to be recognised for its timeless silverware as well as for stocking the finest luxury Swiss watch brands—from Patek Philippe and Rolex—but it has moved seamlessly into the modern age with delightfully feminine jewellery and is proud to be seen as an accessible brand in the luxury world. Designs are in step with modern Britain, but echo its rich heritage.

In the company’s newest boutique, on London’s Regent Street, the carpet is plump, the chandelier twinkles and there is always a glass of the finest Champagne on offer for those seeking the perfect piece of jewellery.
