“I decided to set up my business here because I’ve lived and worked in the area for a while so know it well. It’s a lovely spot to have a shop, right next to the New Forest. Ringwood is also half an hour from the sea and five minutes away from incredible countryside – I went for a walk the other evening and it was completely silent except for the birds and the geese flying over. It provides wonderful inspiration for my paintings and I love living where it’s still unspoilt and not too built up. I met some amazingly supportive people in the local business community when I first set up my shop. Now I can walk down the street and people recognise me – it makes me feel like I belong.”
