Pieces of vintage linen such as tablecloths, tea towels and napkins can make decorative curtains and blinds. Often they have pretty embroidered details, which are emphasised against the light. Don’t worry if you don’t have one piece to fit the whole window, as you can sew sections together to get the size you need. Hang up with pincer clips.
