PRESSED-PLANT ART

Enjoy the beauty of garden plants and flowers for longer by pressing them. Place each stem in between acid-free paper, inside or under a heavy book, or use a flower-pressing kit (baileyshome. com) and leave to dry over a couple of days. Flowers with smaller, flat petals such as pansies will work better. Stick the pressed stems to pieces of paper to make botanical prints with handwritten tags or string together to create your own bunting.
