PATCHWORK FINISH

Sample pieces of fabric, cut with pinking shears and sewn together with a zigzag stitch, can create a pretty under-counter curtain in a kitchen or potting shed. Choose fabrics linked by colour or pattern to give a cohesive look and use pincer clips for a simple hanging system. This is also an effective idea for a café curtain, to hide the contents of a glazed cabinet or to turn into a quilt by backing with fabric with wadding in between.
