FRAMED NOTICEBOARD

Turn an ornate picture frame into an elegant fabric noticeboard. Detach the back and cover with wadding (only in the aperture window) before stretching over a layer of canvas and then patterned fabric (ensuring the design is the right way up to match the orientation you would like the frame – portrait or landscape). Staple or stick to the back each time so the fabrics are taut. Freshen the frame with emulsion or eggshell paint if required and leave to dry before attaching the back.
