RADIATORS

A variety of different designs is available within a central-heating system, so you can select a radiator that not only suits the aesthetic but the purpose as well. Today, they come in different finishes – from block colours to iridescent metal – allowing them to either blend in with their surroundings or stand out significantly. Radiators are also designed in a selection of proportions, so you could run a long, slim model below a window or a tall vertical column discreetly where its lines will complement, rather than detract, from your scheme. Alternatively, you could hide an unattractive radiator behind a bespoke wooden cover. Some even incorporate a bench, which is ideal in a hallway. Older-style column radiators are popular and are available, either reclaimed and reconditioned, as new reproductions or in slimline modern versions.
