PREPARE protection, such as fleece, straw and cloches, for vulnerable plants

USE bracken or fleece to insulate the growing point of tree ferns

PLANT tulip bulbs in pots and borders

PLACE any remaining half-hardy plants under cover now

PLANT new bare-root hedges

CLEAN, restock and add to your collection of bird feeders

PRUNE roses lightly to prevent wind rock
