Britain’s early-bird walking festival

Next issue we’ll list all the 2017 walking festivals, but here’s notice of the early one. The Crickhowell Walking Festival runs from 25th February to 5th March, featuring nine days of guided walks and events in the heart of the Black Mountains. This year’s has a theme of Welsh Legends, so expect talk of dragons, Arthurian legend and Tom Jones. Maybe. www.crickhowellfestival.com
