Brand new for 2017, the Ascent range still follows the same design cues as those vintage packs from Lowe’s early days. The 30 litre Ascent Superlight is one of the lightest fully functional packs on the market, and shares a design lineage with Lowe Alpine’s very first 1967 Expedition Backpack. Features include sculpted shoulder straps for greater freedom of movement, a new TriShield Superlight fabric coating – specifically developed for this pack to increase abrasion resistance – and a removable back panel that doubles up as a bivvy seat.
